About the journal
The primary goal of the journal Cultural Heritage of Russia is to promote the preservation,
study, and popularization of the unique identity of Russian national culture in its entirety.
Connecting with the roots of one's own culture is the only reliable guarantee of fostering a love
for one's homeland, aesthetic and ethical self-awareness, and the development of a spiritual core.
The journal's publications focus on a wide range of general scientific, cultural, and art history
issues, covering the contemporary practical activities of museums in the modern world, the
methods and practices of intellectual tourism, and the results of research related to the system of
human spiritual values.

Particular attention is given to the popularization of the most significant cultural concepts; the
legacy of past thinkers, taking into account the challenges of contemporary spiritual life; the
search, study, and classification of enduring and "cross-cutting" themes and themes that have
permeated various areas and genres of Russia's artistic heritage over the centuries, particularly
the folk art of its regions; a comprehensive study of sociocultural symbolism in various art
forms; and the study of the thinking style and unrealized creative ideas of outstanding cultural
figures of the past.
The journal Cultural Heritage of Russia is included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific
publications of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation (category 2), which
must publish the main scientific results of dissertations for the degrees of candidate and doctor of
science in the following specialties:
5.10.1. – Theory and history of culture and art (cultural studies, art criticism);
5.10.2. – Museology, conservation, and restoration of historical and cultural objects
5.6.1. – Russian history (historical sciences)
